Hi. I’m Dana.

I’ve been writing since I was a kid. For the last twenty years, writing mostly served my vocation as a preacher and pastor. These days, I’m building a standalone freelance business, writing about everything from women in the tech industry to wind chimes. I love that writing lets me learn about all manner of things: recently, I’ve written about the origins of duct tape, a reluctant bishop and how tech companies are wrestling with Artificial Intelligence. You can see more of my writing work linked below, and some of my other communications work on my portfolio page. If you’re interested in working together, here’s my contact page.

We live in all we seek. The hidden shows up in too-plain sight. It lives captive on the face of the obvious - the people, events, and things of the day - to which we as sophisticated children have long since become oblivious. What a hideout: Holiness lies spread and borne over the surface of time and stuff like color.”
